Dow Races Higher After Two Days of Brutal Declines As of 9:38 am ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average had jumped 152.61 points or 0.58%, launching the DJIA to 26,460.4. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq posted similar gains, rising 0.55% to 2,933.65 and 0.67% to 8,090.68. On Thursday, the Dow had recorded its second straight triple-digit loss, falling 122.35 points
